Name: Adrienne Estelle
Age: twenty-one
Gender: female
Species: Garou
Class: nobility
Hobbies: though she’s fond of horse riding and archery, Adrienne’s favorite pastime involves satisfying her own curiosity. Easily intrigued, she loves to explore and learn new things.
Appearance: fair-haired and light-skinned with vibrant, green eyes Adrienne is the definition of beauty. She has an agile and graceful dancer’s figure and – more often than not – can be found with a very coy and playful expression. Always sporting a gracious smile, there’s something radiant about Adrienne that transfers with a very alluring accuracy into her wolf form. As a human, she’s often found in light, earthly colors (green being one of her favorites). She’s the daughter of nobility and because of this, has a very strong need for cleanliness. As a wolf she has a very light-blonde coat; long and feathery with an enticing, healthy shine. In both forms, the faye can be seen with a dazzling, elegant emerald amulet given to her by her doting father. Set inside a silver frame and linked to a matching chain, she uses this as her focal point during transformation. Matching her eyes, the amulet is a brilliant addition to already dazzling oculars.
Personality: Adrienne is a very beautiful girl… but the knowledge of this has often gone to her head. Though she’s very generous and considerate by nature, her intelligence is sometimes called into question. While the faye isn’t stupid, she’s certainly not the sharpest quill in the bunch. Most of the time this fact is overlooked by any male she encounters, but it is a flaw she herself despises. Ever so eager to improve, Adrienne can often be found with her nose in a book. She’s a very slow reader but always yearning for some new piece of information. Sheltered all her life by a very loving yet overly-protective father, the young woman only truly began to blossom with her engagement to her darling Edmond.
Curious in every sense of the word, Adrienne often lands herself in all kinds of trouble. She was known by the servants of her father’s house as “the troubling one” and has definitely lived up to the title. Raised with two older brothers, the female is also a bit of a tomboy. She’s very ladylike when the need arises, but those that know her best know the fem is only – sincerely – happy when she has a couple of layers of dirt on her clothes.
As a human, she tries desperately to control herself and live up to her family’s name… but as a wolf, her truest nature shows itself. Playful and energetic, she often finds the closest friends and the most adoring audience in children (or puppies). Prone to exploration and quarrelsome tendencies, Adrienne is the most innocent soul you’ll ever meet and also the most exasperating. Her inquisitive mind is one of both blessing and curse for those around her, but the youth leaves a very endearing mark on all that meet her.
History: born into a very wealthy family with close ties to His Majesty King Charles V, Adrienne knows only the best of the world. She lived a very sheltered life, never fully given the chance to blossom into a woman that felt she needed anything more than her own appeasing features. With two older brothers as her closest friends, the young Garou was never afraid to forget about her place a female in noble society. The ‘down and dirty’ type, she often found herself in the midst of trouble with her family’s servants and because of this, earned a nickname that always made her father laugh: “Diablotin” or “Imp”.
As her father’s favorite, Adrienne was also introduced to a life of immense privilege. When she began to transform into her wolf shape, it was her father that awarded his young daughter the emerald amulet that never leaves her neck. He was the one that took her on her first hunt and showed his beautiful child the ways of the wild – which very quickly became a life-long passion for the fem.
… But her happiness was short lived.
On her twelfth birthday, the darling girl was betrothed to Edmond François – the son of her father’s trusted friend. The two were introduced and took an immediate liking to each other. Barely three years older than Adrienne, Edmond never-the-less felt an overwhelming desire to protect his fiancé. When the king fell “ill” and the witchcraft craze began to tremor through the city, Adrienne’s family thought they would be safe. Allied with the François House, the two Garou lineages tried their best to ride out the ‘storm’, keeping their position and their name intact.
However, peace was not meant to be. Claudette’s men stormed their mansion and seized Adrienne’s dear father, declaring him to be a heretic and burning him at the stake. They called the rest of Adrienne’s family tainted blood and sought to destroy their name. Though their true identities were never discovered, it was enough for Claudette to have defamed her father’s name. Humiliated in the public’s eye, her family dissipated.
Recognizing the danger they were in, Edmond’s father sent his beloved – and only – son to live with one of his servants far to the north. Giving her the choice to go with her fiancé or her family, Adrienne chose to honor her father’s wishes by remaining with the man she had been betrothed. Departing from their ruined lived in France’s capitol, Adrienne and Edmond began anew in a tiny place called Ville de Kadence. With promises to reunite with family someday, they took comfort in each other’s company. Brought closer by their ordeal, the couple has developed an incredible bond. Her father’s last gift to her turned out to be the greatest gift of all.
