REQUIREMENTS

Hey guys! To be perfectly honest, the inner workings of a medieval village's politics are beyond me. It takes all sorts of jobs to make a city function properly, and as such we're willing to accept applications for higher roles.

Because we're a brand new roleplay, the only requirement is that you have at least one character joined already and will keep or have kept them active. The positions I'm offering will go to the character better suited for that role.

If you have any suggestions or additional careers you'd like to introduce, go ahead and let me know! I'll either give you that role or add it to the list. =D

AVAILABLE POSITIONS
---------------

Councilman: or council member. This is the highest political role beneath the mayor and will be awarded to only the best roleplayers. The council covenes when the mayor decides and is responsible for the entire village. They have unlimited power, rivaled only by either the mayor himself or the captain of the guard.
Character must be at least thirty years old to apply.

Physick: every city needs one! A great herbologist with a kind heart is preferred for this title. The physick (a medieval doctor) oversees the sickly and the injured, doing their best to cure whatever ailment is presented to them. They have a fairly high status in village society.
Character must be at least twenty years old to apply.

Guard: there is an unlimited number of guards for Ville de Kadence. The pay is reasonable and the training intense. Serving under captain Évelyn Faustine, the guard is a very essential piece of any medieval township. Think of them as an older form of the police.
Character must be at least twenty years old to apply.

Tutor/Instructor: one thing that the mayor of Ville de Kadence stresses is education! Very few commoners in this time period were taught to read, but because of the close familial and societal ties of the Garou township, for this village it's become mandatory. Tutors/Instructors are very respected in the town.
Character must be at least twenty years old to apply.

Priest: like the phsick, every self-respecting medieval village had at least clergyman. Sworn and dutiful to God, the priest answers to no one but the Catholic church itself. Because of the times, the role of priest is a very precarious condition. Though they possess great power and sway in the town, they would also be the first to be burned should Claudette discover them to be a heretic.
Character must be at least twenty years old to apply.

Commoner: this is a generic title for any of the following careers: blacksmith, baker, merchant, farmer, or innkeeper. You essentially have your own business and are free to run it how you please (I should think a role like "baker" is self-explanatory).
Character must be at least fifteen years old to apply.
