Their Story

Long ago, our heathen Gods, Adianson and Juism, bestowed upon four wolves the power of the Elements. These wolves where none other than Velutina, the mountain wolf, Aquaeois, the ocean shore wolf, Terrias, the woodland wolf, and Millech, the nomadic wolf. At first the wolves used these great powers wisely. Velutina, his fire to keep his family warm, and the earth to build them many homes. Aquaeois, his wind to keep the ocean under his will, and the water to bring good fish to his pack. Terrias, his poison for protection against foes, and his light for healing his loved ones. And Millech, his shadows to stay hidden from his enemies, and his lightning to strike them down. But these wolves soon grew power-hungry, wanting to become stronger for themselves; as all do in time. The power of the four who hungered for more, worried the Gods. The ever-growing power of the wolves frightened them. And with fear of them a new creature was sent to the land. A creature never seen before, known as Death Shadows, who were to destroy the abusers of magic. But with the idea of freedom overwhelmed them. They went on a rampage not wishing to return to their "hell" like cages. Only death was left behind them, and the Gods had only made things worse. The Gods, they fled for safer lands. They took their Temple, Forests, and Youth Pool with them. As they feared the four and their growing packs. We had to fight on are own with the Death Shadows. Then we were left with decedents of the Great Four Fathers. Struggling to survive in a desolated land, always burning in the eternal hate between Demons and Gods. Death left and right, bodies piling on top of one another.

Then...
The Gods returned, with sadden hearts. Their children had fallen by the hands of their "pets". Death Shadows were meant only to punish the four leaders; Velutina, Aquaeois, Terrias, Millech.
In their last attempt, Gods created a new race. Hoping to stop the blood shed on their children, Canines were created. All types of breeds were made being different shapes, sizes, and colors. All this work was a great attempt to stop the demons, making them leave the God's offspring alone. Their attempts were in vain, as these horrid monsters didn't care. Still they killed anything in their way. The Canine race decreased dramatically. They were helpless, in the paths of the Death Shadows.
Pitting the weak beings, the Gods returned once more to bless upon random Canines the same gifts as the four original wolves. Everyone had a chance to fight, everyone had the opportunity to survive. But that was over five thousand years ago....

Now...
This world still has death plaguing the lands. Some four-legged creatures have settled their differences while others have not. The Gods are gone only leaving their creations behind. Blood is still being shed, painting the lands of Seliete red. When will we see the end of this war? No one knows, we pray to the Gods it will come soon. A God-less race runs across the lands, with no true leaders outside of our packs. Or blood has mixed; Death Shadows, Canines and Wolves. Some are mutts, some are Pure Bloods. We are the Wolves and Canines of Seliete
