She has very innocent heart but can sometimes be a little hard to endure with her overly-chatty personality. She loves a good bit of gossip and feels the need to tell everyone everything that crosses her mind.
Appearance: though she's only sixteen, this young girl has the makings of a beautiful woman. She's been a bit slow to develope, but when Amelia does blosson she will no doubt outshine most. She's very similar in appearance to her beloved mother, Meiza Kosa, and exhibits a lot of the same facial expressions as well. With a slender body and graceful step, the young beauty displays many dancer-like qualities that come from a fond adoration of roaming the nearby countryside as a wolf. Her eyes are a remarkable hazel that glitter with an orange tinge in the sunlight and her hair – though a bit of a mess most of the time – holds that same chocolate-like hue as the woman that gave her life. Often adorned in all sorts of jewelry, Amelia’s love for silver is quite evident. She has a crescent moon necklace always draped around her neck and is never found without her mass of tittering bracelets.
Personality: gentle and kind, Amelia is everything you would expect from an animal lover. She has a very large heart for anything sick or injured and enjoys nurturing whatever she finds lying around. Though barely out of childhood herself, Amelia is desperate to have children of her own. She’s fond of playing ‘mommy’ to the stray cats and dogs that she finds, but it’s not enough to satiate the aching need inside her. For the most part, Amelia tries to substitute her maternal instincts with that of the caring sister. She tries her best to help her older brother, Torin, as well as her parents keep the other children in line… but at times she’ll forget about maturity, falling back into the role of the child. She’s a sweetheart in every sense of the word, but her constant chatter has gotten on her family’s nerves on more than one occasion. She hates the silence and does whatever she can to fill it with conversation – even if there’s no one around.
History: living in a once-happy town called Shire, Amelia spent the majority of her early childhood playing in the nearby forest. She loved the wilderness and developed a deep adoration for the woods. Together, her friend – Marie – and she would spend hours on the rocks or in the trees, talking. She had an affinity for nature made all the stronger by her Garou heritage. At times, she’d even have her siblings or parents accompany her on these trips. Life was as idyllic as the majesty she witnessed in the forest and Amelia came to fondly enjoy her life. However… when rumors of witchcraft began to spread, the young girl noticed a visible fear in her happy little Shire. The rumors were whispers at first that she barely noticed. It wasn’t until Marie told her about the inquisition that Amelia began to feel the same tremor of terror that seemed to have seized her neighbors.
When her parents were accused of heresy, the depth of the matter didn’t truly sink in until much later. Waking her in the middle of the night, her dearest mother and father forced their children out of the house and told them to flee. Combined in numbers with the nearby Richard clan, Amelia and her brothers and sisters escaped into the night. Terrified, the young girl had tried her best to hold back tears. She begged her eldest brother, Torin, to let her go back but he and the others refused. They roamed the countryside, inexperienced and unknowing, for days.
At long last, however, help came. When the siblings’ parents finally caught up to them, it was one of the happiest days of Amelia’s life. She remembers well her ruined life… but tries to focus on her hope for the future. Young in body and at heart, Amelia is an optimistic soul that wants only happiness for her family. Moving with them to her mother’s hometown, Ville de Kadence, the small faye has settled into her new lifestyle and once again grown partial to her long walks in the forest. She’s still looking for a friend – or two – with which to share her experiences, but Amelia has faith that her companion will come in due time. She often thinks about her old friend Marie and sometimes imagines going back to look for the girl… but Amelia knows their friendship has been severed forever. Though Marie was a good, well-intentioned girl the accusations against Amelia’s family had frightened her.
But, as Amelia always says: hope is forever on the horizon.
